Megan is a stunning gentle, slightly shy, Ragdoll, female cat who was signed over to a local vet by her original owners. The veterinary surgery housed her for a couple of weeks but asked ARC to take Megan for rehoming. Megan is neutered, and was wormed and fleaed at the surgery where she was signed over. She has seen our vet to be microchipped and to begin her vaccinations. There is some concern over Megan’s gums which are rather inflamed. We are going to wait until Megan has her booster vaccination to assess if further investigations/ treatment are required. For this reason, we would like to home Megan to someone fairly local to Twickenham Vets so that ARC can continue to take responsibility for Megan’s gum/ possible dental issues. Her new owner would be responsible for taking Megan to the surgery, but ARC would cover the cost of any treatment that is deemed necessary. Megan has been tested for FIV/FELV and is negative.
We do not know whether Megan has had outdoor access in her previous home but we would like to home her where there is a garden so that Megan can choose to go out into a garden should she wish.
Update: Megan is very sweet natured, she enjoys a cosy bed & will nuzzle onto a lap if she fancies it. When she’s in the mood for love she will purr loudly & seek your hands for a head scratch. She is slightly boss-eyed which give her an edearing expression. She likes to play & roll around on her back. She is quite chatty. She often looks out the window & seems to want to go outside. I wonder if she wouldn’t benefit from a home with another cat or where people are about, while I’m out she just sleeps & she seems quite independent but definitely enjoys having company.
