Miralbel is a beautiful grey and white female cat who our vet has estimated to be around 6 years of age. We are told that she has been living for around 2 years as a stray and recently has been cared for by the residents of the street where she had made her home. The residents took Mirabel to the vet to be checked for a microchip, and put her on social media, but no one has ever come forward to claim Mirabel. By asking people in the locality, they found out that Mirabel had probably been left behind when her owners, who lived in an adjacent street, moved away.
Since coming into our care. Mirabel has seen the vet for a health check. She has been microchipped, had her first vaccination and been wormed and fleaed. Mirabel will need a booster vaccination at the end of the month and this will be the responsibility of the new owner if Mirabel is homed before then. We believe Mirabel is neutered as the people who have been caring for her say she has never had kittens.
When Mirabel first arrived she was quite stressed by being moved. However, she behaved very well at the vet, remaining calm and easy to handle, and she has settled very well into our cattery unit, enjoying being stroked etc. When Mirabel moves to her foster home, her carer will update us further on Mirabel’s personality.
