Scooter suffers with diabetes and needs special support for this condition.
Quote from Scooters new owner: Always having had cats as part of our family home , it was very sad when we lost Alfie & Leo after a lovely 16 years together.
8 months passed and my Daughter was moving out. We discussed it would lovely to find another cat that needed a loving home and started to look at several rescue centres.
After a few months my friend showed me a picture of a mature male grey and white cat called Scooter !
I instantly loved his profile and made arrangements to see him.
On arrival I was met by a very timid and quiet cat.
The ARC charity and vet Wendy helped me understand his needs and his diabetes condition.
Being very happy to take Scooter home in the knowledge we would be supported by the amazing team at a ARC !
Nearly a year on I can say it’s the best thing I’ve ever done… Scooter is flourishing he’s no longer the shy timid boy I first met.
He is the most affectionate and cuddly cat who never leaves my side. As the picture here demonstrates!
