We’d adopted our two baby mice from ARC and it was such a positive experience that we decided we would also adopt 4 rats who needed a home. So Boris, Charlie, Dave and Eddie came to us. Once again ARC provided advice on what was needed. As they are elderly boys with weight problems we received some great advice on how to care for them and get their weight down. They each have their own personalities but Boris is the dominant one and loves food (they all do) and is the one who is most affectionate and always eager to come out and play. They are very keen to come out of the cage and free roam and one of their favourite things is fishing for peas – see photo.
They are great pets and really interact with us – always coming to bars to see what we’re doing.
