Dear little Mabel came into ARC’s care after she and her litter were taken into a local vet after being found dumped. The kittens had mild cat flu so had sticky eyes but with veterinary treatment and a wonderful foster home all four kittens are thriving. It is likely they are cat flu carriers so should be homed on their own or where any resident cat is fully vaccinated. Mabel is the biggest of the litter but was the most timid. However, she has made lots of progress in the 2 weeks she has been in foster care. Mabel is slowly building her trust in humans and acts like a mum to her sisters, grooming them , letting them eat first and covering uo their poops in the litter tray! Before rehoming, Mabel will have a health check at which she will be wormed, fleaed and microchipped. New owners will be responsible for getting Annie vaccinated at 9 weeks with a booster at 12 weeks. She will also need neutering when she is 5 months old so any adopter must be able to afford the cost of these procedures.
