Dear little Layla was born in the garden of a lovely older couple who took the time and trouble to try and handle Layla and her brother, Panda, so that they would grow up used to human touch, rather than feral. The couple also made sure that the owners of the mummy cat had her spayed so that no more unwanted litters would be born outside. Layla is a timid little girl who is gradually and slowly coming out of her shell. She hid for the first few days in her foster home but she is now venturing out to observe her foster mum from a distance. Layla has been neutered, microchipped, wormed and fleaed. She has also started her vaccinations and will need a booster at the end of September.
FOSTER HOME UPDATE:Layla is getting braver everyday and is starting to play. Now she is becoming relaxed she is showing her affectionate and let me rub her tummy today. She will need a quiet home to begin with and patient owner/s as she is startled by any movement. She eats well and uses litter tray. She’s a sweet kitten with a beautiful colourful fur coat.
FURTHER UPDATE: Layla is progressing well. She’s so affectionate and adores cuddles and being stroked. She still likes to hide away but is very loving when I’m chilling on the sofa. She’s getting more confident by the day and present more. She’s learning how to play. She loves Lul, the dog, but Lulu isn’t a fan of her kneading into her and moves away. She might benefit from another kitten/cat.
