Sadly, one day Clive arrived with a severely injured eye after being attacked by a group of male cats from a nearby colony. This is Cleo. She was taken in by a kind lady when she had kittens on top of a bin cupboard. Her rescuer found it difficult to keep Cleo and her kittens apart from her own cats so we took them in. Milly came to us when we trapped several cats from the same family, in a local garden. Milly was clearly a domestic cat but her adult kittens were all semi feral. Millie and one of her daughters were pregnant so they stayed in our care, in our cattery unit as all our foster homes were full, to have and raise their kittens. AMiso came in with Amahle but her previous owners have advised that the two cats do not get on particularly well and would be happier homed separately. Lilly was originally brought across from France as a family pet but her original owners could not keep her due to rental property rules. She was temporarily rehomed with their family members in 2021 and ended up on a website for rehoming, where she was spotted by a cat lover who took her in as a private rescue as she was concerned for her welfare. This is Albert. He arrived via a police case along with the 13 other members of his family. All the cats were very nervous when they arrived but Albert is now happy around his foster carer and enjoys a cuddle with her. Socks is a delightful friendly and affectionate girl who came into ARC's care as a stray who was heavily pregnant. Luckily for Socks, she was lucky enough to be placed in a lovely foster home where she has given birth and raised her litter of 6 kittens in comfort and safety. LOCATED: TW2

Calypso has a rather chequered history having been found as a stray, taken in by her finder for a period before being rehomed privately. She was then given up to a rescue who returned her to her original finder to whom she was microchipped. Due to living in a flat, he felt he couldn't keep Calypso long term so asked ARC for help. Daphne was born in the home of an 85 year old lady, to a cat she took on as a stray, not realising the cat was pregnant.
