Blair – 11 years old

Blair is a special cat who will need a special owner! She came to us after she was found dumped in her carrier in a pet shop. She was microchipped, which is how we know her name and age, but her owners didn’t respond to requests for contact. Once we had been looking after her for a few days, we suspected some health issues, and a blood test confirmed that [...read more]

Pat- almost 4 years old

Pat has come into our care with her mum and some adult siblings and half siblings. Her owner has sadly had to give up 7 out of his 8 cats as he has health issues which were making it hard for him to cope with so many cats. The owner loved and looked after his cats very well, perhaps too well, as pat is quite overweight and will need to [...read more]

Kitty 1- under 5 years

Dear little Kitty was found as a stray by a lovely lady who realised Kitty had taken up residence in her garden. She immediately noticed that Kitty had a problem with one of her back legs so took Kitty to her vet to be checked for a microchip. Sadly, despite being very friendly and affectionate, Kitty was not chipped. The vet who saw Kitty offered to x-ray Kitty's back leg [...read more]

Tiger- 5 to 6 years approx

Tiger is a lovely big, tabby and white boy who has come into our care after living for a long time as a stray. He took up residence in the garden of a lovely lady who provided him with a shelter and took him to her vet to be checked over. The vet suspected that Tiger might be FIV postive and, sadly, his blood tests showed that this is indeed [...read more]

Milo is a handsome black boy who has come into ARC's care, despite being a much loved pet, due to members of his family being allergic to him. He came in with Luna but Milo really did not like her so we are looking for a home for Milo where he will be the only cat. Milo is neutered but he will be seeing the vet for a health check [...read more]

Frankie- 18 months

Frankie is a black and white female cat. We are told that she was originally a stray who was taken in by someone after no microchip could be found that would have reunited her with her owner. For the past several months, Frankie has been living in a flat on the 10th storey of a tower block, so she hasn't had access to a garden or outside space. She loves [...read more]
