Betty came into rescue scared and a bit defensive, which suggested she’d had some bad experiences in her earlier life. But this lovely little mini-lop is learning to trust humans and is curious and wants to be friendly. We’ve had her healthchecked, vaccinated and neutered and we’d like to get her settled with a lonely neutered male rabbit. Betty will eat from your hand and tolerate head rubs, but she’s extremely panicky about being picked up. The good news is that she will jump into a carrier happily if she needs to be moved anywhere – we wish she’d teach some of our other rabbits to do that! We’re suggesting she’d be suitable for an adult home in view of her temperament at the moment.
