Daphne was born in the home of an 85 year old lady, to a cat she took on as a stray, not realising the cat was pregnant. Despite being born in a home, the kittens were clearly not handled very much and were fearful of being stroked and held by humans. Please see the update to see how Daphne has progressed.
Daphne has been health checked, wormed, fleaed, microchipped and fully vaccinated. She has also been spayed.
FOSTER HOME UPDATE: ‘Daphne has amazed me. When she first arrived with me, she was such a flighty little girl who was very mistrustful and really didn’t want to be touched or stroked. But she has completly changed and blossomed into a love bug since her litter mates have gone to their new homes. She now demands attention and affection! I don’t think she would cope with being left all day or long periods because she becomes frantic and clingy when I return after a few hours. She could be paired with a confident and playful friend or even a chilled dog. Daphne is quite boisterous at times, and enjoys climbing the curtains and tearing around the house but she will calm down as she matures! She is not used to children but might enjoy the attention of teenagers or older children. Daphne is still not used to being picked up but I am working on that. She is a real little character who doesn’t do anything by halves! She is very much a lap cat and is demanding in a lovely way!’
