Dora came into ARC’s care because she had been attacking her owner. She had been an indoor cat all her life so we hoped that in a home with a garden, Dora would be less frustrated and this behaviour would stop. However, despite placing Dora in two permanent homes, with expereienced owners who had ideal loving conditions for her, she continued to occasionally attack her new owners without provocation. As Dora has now been returned twice, we feel that we cannot really rehome Dora again. She is now living in her foster home where she has not attached her fosterer although she will lash out at visitors if the dare to try and stroke her. Her foster mum has grown fond of Dora despite her rather ‘difficult’ nature!
