Meet Isabella…a 12 year old female who originated in France. She has come into ARC’s care with Darcy, to whom she is not related, but has lived with for the last 4 years. The cats have been given up because their owner needs to leave the UK for family reasons but Isabella has been much loved by her original owner. Isabella is taking time to settle into her foster home and has spent most of the first week hiding. However, she is gradually gaining confidence and has started to appear for attention and, feeling a little more adventurous, she has discovered a love of playing the piano (Debussy and Satie!). Her foster mum has also noticed that Isabella seems to be intimidated by Darcy so she may prefer to be homed on her own. Our foster home will continue to monitor the two cats relationship.
