“Who will take care of this little cutie? Pepita needs a new forever foster home due to a change in current foster carer circumstances.
She is a very special cat and is much loved – she has a hole in her heart which has never closed so is unable to have any of the usual procedures as she may not survive them. Having said this her current fosterer has had her for almost 4 years now since she was found outside as a kitten with her brother.
She has had an implant fitted by the vet to stop her coming into heat, but must still be restricted to indoors or a safe outside space. She currently has access to the roof of her fosterer’s home which is a flat under the eaves – she spends a lot of time up there on her rounds and has an unbelievable jump range to get out of the velux windows despite her heart issues! Ideally at the very least she would like windows she can look out of and survey the natural world – she is absolutely fascinated by foxes for instance.
Pepita adores playing and really enjoys all interaction unless there is a hoover involved. Chasing a laser light in the evenings is something she actively asks for and still loves her tunnel and is happy to bat a ball around on its track. She is not a lap cat, but likes to snuggle up next to you especially in the mornings if you let her on the bed. She purrs like a train and stretches out wide to sleep – not very ladylike, but very chilled.
She deserves a new home who will love and cherish her and be prepared to play at all hours :),”
Pepita’s vet care will be covered by ARC providing she remains a patient at Twickenham Veterinary Surgery where we have an account.
