Tyger has come into our care with his mum and some adult siblings and half siblings. His owner has sadly had to give up 7 out of his 8 cats as he has health issues which were making it hard for him to cope with so many cats. The owner loved and looked after his cats very well, perhaps too much, as Tyger is very large indeed and will need to lose some weight if he is to live a healthy lifestyle! Despite his size, Tyger is a very gentle soul who, despite being fearful when he first arrived in our care, showed no aggression. He would suit most types of home. Tyger came to us already neutered and microchipped but he has seen the vet and been given a clean bill of health. We have had him wormed, fleaed, and fully vaccinated.
FOSTER HOME UPDATE: Tiger is a gentle but nervous boy who and hid when he first arrived in bis foster home. , firstly in the sofa then behind an armchair. He is now much better for his fosterers and, when he feels safe he will have strokes and purrs loudly, even rolling over for belly rubs which he seems to love. He is such a lovely gentle boy and even held my hand the other day because he didn’t want me to stop stroking him. However, anyone wanting to adopt Tyget will need to understand that he will not view well as he will hide as soon as a stranger arrives!
